More on the Oddsmakers.

I don't approve of betting on elections, even with play money. That said, I will give you some more percentages from WSX the Washington Stock Exchange on their assessments of the upcoming elections. They give Mary Bono, the Republican Congresswoman from California, and surviving wife of Sonny Bono deceased Republican Congressman and pop singer, a 54% chance of getting re-elected. Ron Klein, the highly successful fundraiser Democratic candidate for Congress in the Florida 22nd District, a 50% chance of getting elected. Tammy Duckworth, the nationally popular Iraq-war veteran Democratic candidate for the U.S. House seat in the IL 6th District, a 50% chance of being elected. Now for that rerun of the first U.S. House election held this year, Bilbray v. Busby: those oddsmakers give the Republican Bilbray a 75% chance to win, but give Busby the Democrat a 46% chance to win. Maybe someone could do some arbitrage to make the totals equal one hundred percent. Figures should add up to 100%, unless the oddsmaking service is claiming a lot of money or credits. Kenneth Stepp, KY-05 the Democratic Candidate.
