Louisville Courier-Journal reports "most voters in this district are still registered Democratic".

The Louisville Courier-Journal has the following analysis of the Rogers-Stepp race for U.S. House, KY-05:
"In southeastern Kentucky's 5th District, Republican Rep. Hal Rogers faces a shoestring challenge from Democrat Kenneth Stepp — but is running TV ads. They're not attacks, but most voters in this district are still registered Democratic, and it's yet another sign that Republicans are running scared."
The Democrats in the Fifth District of Kentucky are the majority, and have a right to have their own Democratic Congressman. Oust the Republican rubberstamp. Oust Hal Rogers. Elect Kenneth Stepp, the Democratic candidate, to the U.S. House, KY-05.
